STATEMENT OF FAITH
1. The Trinity
We believe in one God who exists forever as three equal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. They are one God in three persons. Each is fully God, and they love and glorify each other. God is perfectly loving and holy, and he created everything. God is all-knowing, all-powerful, and brings about His eternal good purposes to redeem a people for Himself and restore His fallen creation. All this, to the praise of His glorious grace. (See Redeeming Work of Christ and Power of the Holy Spirit)

2. Scripture
God reveals Himself through creation, supremely through Jesus, and through the Bible. The 66 books of the Old and New Testaments are God's inspired, authoritative, and error-free words. The scripture is complete and reveals everything we need for salvation. While we can't fully understand God, the Holy Spirit helps us know His revealed truth. We should believe, obey, and trust the Bible, becoming Christ's disciples and sharing the gospel. The Bible is a source for discernment and counsel.
2 Timothy 3:16-17, Romans 15:4, Matthew 24:35, Hebrews 4:12-13, Revelations 22:18-19, Hebrews 1:1-2
3. Creation of Humanity and the Fall
God created humanity, male and female, in His image. He tasked them with governing and managing creation. Men and women, equal in God's image, are called to active roles in family, church, and society. Marriage, a union between one man and one woman, reflects the relationship between Christ and the church. Men and women complement each other, with distinct roles mirroring Christ's loving leadership and the church's submission. Both are encouraged to serve and lead in the church. Certain leadership roles (Pastor/Elder) are reserved for qualified men, based on biblical principles. Adam's sin alienated humanity from God, corrupting all aspects of human existence and leading to death. Humanity's only hope is reconciliation with God through his undeserved love.

4. The Plan of God
We believe that from all eternity God determined in grace to save sinners from every tribe, language, people and nation, and to this end foreknew and chose them. We believe that God justifies and sanctifies those who by grace have faith in Jesus, and that He will one day glorify them—all to the praise of his glorious grace. In love, God commands and implores all people to repent and believe, having loved those He has chosen and ordained Christ as their Redeemer.

5. The Gospel
We believe that the gospel is the good news of Jesus Christ. God, in His love and wisdom, sent Christ to save us. The Bible says God’s wisdom is folly to the world, even though it is the power of God to those who are being saved. This good news is centered on the cross and Christ’s resurrection. This message was entrusted to and transmitted by the apostles, who were witnesses of these saving events.

6. Our Redemption in Christ
We believe that Christ became human; the Word became flesh. Jesus Christ was fully God and fully man. Jesus was conceived through the Holy Spirit and was born of the virgin Mary. He perfectly obeyed His heavenly Father, lived a sinless life, performed miraculous signs, was crucified, arose from the dead on the third day, and ascended into heaven. As our King, He is seated at the right hand of God the Father, exercising God's sovereignty in heaven and on earth. He is our High Priest and righteous Advocate. We believe that by His life, death, resurrection, and ascension Jesus Christ acted as our representative and substitute. He did this so that through Him we might become the righteousness of God. On the cross, He canceled sin, satisfied God’s wrath, and bore the full penalty of our sins. He reconciled to God all those who believe in Him as their Savior. By His resurrection, Christ Jesus broke the power of death and defeated Satan. He brought everlasting life to all His people and is preparing a place for us in eternity. We believe that salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name given under heaven by which we must be saved.

7. The Justification of Sinners
We believe that Jesus, through His perfect life and death, paid the full penalty for the sins of everyone who is made right with God. He took our punishment upon Himself, and satisfied God's justice for us. Because Jesus perfectly obeyed God, and because we have faith in Jesus alone, that perfect obedience is accounted to us, making us acceptable to God. God freely gave Jesus for us and accepted Jesus' obedience and punishment in our place. This means we are made right with God by His grace alone, not by anything we do. This shows both God's perfect justice and His great love. We believe that when we are made right with God in this way, we will naturally want to obey Him both privately and publicly.
Romans 3:20-26, Romans 5:8, Romans 10:9-10, Galatians 2:16-17, Titus 3:5

8. The Power of the Holy Spirit
We believe that salvation from sin was secured by Jesus Christ and is applied to His people by the Holy Spirit. Sent by the Father and the Son, the Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus and lives within us as believers. He convicts the world of sin. He gives spiritual life to those dead in sin by leading them to repentance and faith. We are baptized through the Spirit to unite us with Christ. We are justified before God by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. The Spirit renews and purifies believers, adopting them into God's family, enabling them to share in God's divine nature, and giving them gifts as He sees fit. He is the guarantee of our promised inheritance, and in this present age He guides, teaches, equips, revives, and empowers us to live and serve as Christ would.

9. The Kingdom of God
We believe that God’s eternal blessings include: the forgiveness of sins; the inward desire to grow in holiness by glorifying, trusting, and obeying God; and the prospect of the glory yet to be revealed. Because we are citizens of God's kingdom, we are to love our neighbors as ourselves, doing good to all, especially to those who belong to the household of God. As the church does these things, we bring His kingdom to earth, establishing a new community for His glory together. We believe that those who have been saved by the grace of God by faith in Christ enter the kingdom of God.

10. God’s New People
We believe that, as Christians, we represent the body of Christ. As a local church, and also as a group of believers throughout the world, we are part of God's family. The Church is the cherished bride of Christ and is known by its gospel, practices, discipline, mission, love for God, love for each other, and love for the world. This gospel is lived out in our personal relationship with Christ and in our relationships with each other. We emphasize peace with God and reconciliation between Him and His people, as demonstrated by Christ. God’s people demonstrate their obedience to Him by gathering to give and receive instruction in the foundation of truth. We are called to encourage each other, bear witness of His goodness, share one another’s burdens, and praise his name. We are to spread the gospel, and serve others inside and outside the church. The Church is the home of God's Spirit and a witness to God in the world.

11. Baptism and the Lord's Supper
We believe that baptism and communion (Lord's Supper) are ordained by the Lord Jesus Himself. Baptism is an outward profession of an inward commitment to God as Lord and Savior. Communion reminds us of Jesus’ sacrifice and allows us to regularly renew our commitment to God. These practices are a reminder of God’s promised love and grace, since they reflect Christ’s death and His resurrection. They allow us to publicly declare our loyalty to the crucified and risen Jesus as we look forward to His return and the final completion of His kingdom.

12. The Restoration of All Things
We believe in the personal, glorious, and bodily return of our Lord Jesus Christ with his holy angels. At that time, God will be the final judge. We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the just and the unjust—the unjust to judgment and eternal punishment in hell, and the just to eternal blessedness in the presence of God in the new heaven and the new earth. On that day the Church will be presented faultless before God in Christ, all sin purged, and its effects forever banished. God will reign supreme, and His people will marvel at his indescribable holiness, all to the praise of His glorious grace.
